Illuminating Signs

For highly visible signs throughout the day and night, look no further than an internally illuminated box sign. They are constructed from an aluminium outer casing, with either illuminating acrylic panels, or in the case of Jubilee Church in the picture, a printed Flex Face. At a size of 4.6m x 2.7m, a Flex Face box was the perfect choice, as it could be produced without any joints. Illuminated box signs have a very low running cost and can be combined with a light sensor or a timer, to switch on and off automatically. Alternatively, signs can be externally illuminated from above, using trough lighting or traditional ‘swan neck’ lights.

Noble House Chinese Restaurant in Maidstone, chose trough lighting above their new sign. The light casing was powder coated into black, helping it blend in with the sign. The Fret cut stand off lettering and the metallic gold vinyl creates a fantastic look when the light is turned on at night.
